Working from scratch, following simplicity

LaTeX online? WriteLaTeX of course!

I would never have imagined that I could type a TeX file, view its real-time preview, download the resulting PDF, share it and much more in the Cloud... Yet using WriteLatex it is possible, also without a registration. That's amazing! Finally I can not only edit my templates on the net, but also I manage them from anywhere and on any device.

WriteLaTeX is an "online collaborative LaTeX editor with integrated rapid preview" that was launched in 2011 by John Hammersley and John Lees-Miller and today it has "thousands of active users who've created over a hundred thousand projects."

Update: In 2015 WriteLaTeX changes in Overleaf. Citing the web page WriteLaTeX is continued Overleaf: "As part of our efforts to make the power of LaTeX more accessible to more people, we're relaunching in 2015 under the new name of Overleaf as part of a major upgrade to the service. [...] But onto the important part - all your projects, files and links will remain fully accessible, and you can continue to use Overleaf in exactly the same way as you use writeLaTeX today. We're hugely thankful to everyone who's used and supported writeLaTeX so far, and we're keeping full support for direct LaTeX editing in Overleaf."

I suggest visiting and trying it, so you can learn how it works, through a short video introduction or a Tutorial. Besides there are a lot of useful Templates and Demos, in this manner I hope you have the opportunity to watch and interact with some of the best features that LaTeX offers for writing and typesetting. No excuses!

Finally here is the sign up link with my referral in order to improve you productivity in this "Online Collaborative Rich Text Editing" Service, the free account allows you to store your documents with the "versions save" & "restore version history" features:

https://www.overleaf.com/signup?ref=03181694e0d0

I will use it to post some interesting templates soon, but at the present I share the resulting link of my business card with four comprehensive images.
